I manage global proposals, which basically means bringing together teams across regions to create strong, clear, client-focused bids. It's a mix of strategy, writing, coordination and clear communication. Over time, I’ve taken on more complex cross-border projects, started using better tools and mentored colleagues as our function grows.


What was the driving factor that attracted you to join an international law firm?


I wanted to work in a truly global environment where collaboration across cultures is part of everyday work. The firm’s reputation and international reach made it the right place to build my expertise. I liked the idea of contributing to something bigger, more dynamic and high-impact than what I had before.


What are the moments or projects that stand out as your defining experiences?


Leading several multi-jurisdictional proposals under tight timelines has been especially defining. They brought high expectations and the need for seamless teamwork. Such projects are intense but incredibly rewarding when everything comes together. I’ve also enjoyed improving some of our internal processes. Seeing the team's life get a bit easier is a great feeling.


How would you describe the culture at the firm?


The culture is genuinely inclusive, collaborative, and focused on doing things well. People support each other, share knowledge openly and aim high without losing the human side. It's a busy environment, but there's a sense of "we're in this together" that makes a huge difference.

It’s fulfilling to see how our proposals contribute to the firm’s success. And working with a team that cares, works hard and supports each other keeps me going even when the days are long.


What are some key skills or competencies you have developed?


I’ve strengthened my strategic thinking, stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills. I'm more confident now leading global pitches and keeping the bigger picture in mind.


How does the firm support your continuous learning and growth?


The firm invests heavily in learning, and I actively use the firm’s online learning resources and live knowledge-sharing sessions. I've also benefited from strong leadership that encourages my growth and gives me space to take on more responsibility. This continuous improvement has helped me grow in ways that show up in day-to-day work.
