"The Clifford Chance culture is very much team-based, so it feels like each member of the team is important and contributes to its success."

Give a brief overview of your role at the firm now, when you joined and your background before joining.

I have been an assistant in the investment funds team in Luxembourg for almost 4 years. Prior joining Clifford Chance Luxembourg, I was a production assistant on co-produced European film shootings.

How would you describe the culture and atmosphere at Clifford Chance?

The Clifford Chance culture is very much team-based, so it feels like each member of the team is valued and contributes to firms success. The Luxembourg office isn't a large office, so we all know each other which I find pleasant. Alongside this, Luxembourg holds a unique position in Europe which allows for easy work collaborations with colleagues from other offices.

What are the key skills you have developed here which have been invaluable to your career?

Multitasking and self-confidence. I am involved in a variety of work and have had the pleasure of learning new things every day. Lastly I am able to really utilise further learning and development oppotunities through the training offered by the company.

What do you like most about your job?

The diversity of tasks and my team. I am lucky to have a team with different qualifications, experiences, educational and cultural backgrounds, which is very rewarding on a daily basis. I have the feeling that the energy and the time I put into my work has an impact for me and my co-workers and that my skills and my personality are valued. It motivates me to know that I have the power to improve my work environment.

What do you notice and value most about the people?

The warm and friendly atmosphere, as well as the ease of communication whether within office or within the global network.
