Grow with us

Build on what you already know in an environment that gives you every opportunity to reach your full potential

If you are a new joiner, whatever your role and level of seniority, you will attend an introductory orientation course during your first few days with us. This will provide you with a lot of practical information about the firm and the services and support that will be available to you at Clifford Chance.

A work placement mentor ('maître de stage') will always be appointed to guide, assign work to, supervise and provide feedback on, the students undertaking a training internship with us.

All new joiners will be assigned a supervising senior lawyer or senior professional who will act as your point of reference for queries and advice on your professional development and career progression within the firm, as well as a buddy to ease your induction and answer any questions you may have in order for you to settle in more easily.

Business skills courses for both lawyers and business professionals are integrated within the applicable competency framework to ensure that all our people, at every level and including experienced professionals, have the opportunity to reach the same standards of skills and knowledge, no matter in which office they work.
