Newcastle Paralegals

At Clifford Chance, we are committed to delivering meaningful advantage for our clients—on every matter, every time.

We have over 90 paralegals in our Newcastle office. Joining as a paralegal means you will be part of a high-performing team, globally recognised for the work we do. You’ll collaborate with the sharpest minds in the industry, working on some of the most critical legal and commercial business challenges.

We cover a range of capabilities in our Newcastle office, including due diligence, document review, e-disclosure, general transaction management, drafting documents from precedents, contract summaries, research, process expertise, and jurisdictional surveys.

The team in Newcastle works on matters for all the firm's practice areas, providing support for a range of legal tasks while ensuring that knowledge, resources, processes and technology are deployed effectively. Our Newcastle office offers the close-knit and inclusive culture of a smaller firm with the resources and support of a global law firm.

A paralegal role offers you the opportunity to work with a responsive team within a fast-paced environment and collaborative culture. We welcome law and non-law graduates, as well as experienced paralegals with different educational backgrounds, to ensure that we have the right skills to meet the needs of our clients. We look for individuals who are ready to learn fast, grow with purpose and deliver real impact. We set the bar high and expect our people to reach even higher.

It is essential that our people approach their work creatively and innovatively because the nature of the work means we're often doing things for the first time. Our award-winning team is recognised for developing new approaches and using the latest technology. Being part of our Newcastle office means collaborating closely with colleagues all around the firm's global network. Our Newcastle office is based in 'The Lumen', next to the Innovation Quarter in the heart of the city centre and provides a progressive and collaborative workspace, with great amenities.
