Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to discover the Business Development, Marketing & Communication department of our firm in Luxembourg. You will be actively involved in the coordination and delivery of client events, as well as the creation and development of marketing and communication materials. Throughout the internship, you will gain valuable insights into the daily operations of an international law firm and the role of Business Development in supporting client relationship management, strategic initiatives and market visibility.
Contract: 6 months internship
Hours: 40H per week
Business Development Support
- Contribute to weekly BD reporting for partners, including updating Interaction data, preparing dashboards, and supporting internal communication flows.
- Assist with data analysis to support client targeting, matter trends and BD insights for partners and lawyers.
- Handle routine BD administrative tasks that enable the team to focus on higher‑value strategic work
Marketing & Communications
- Support the drafting and editing of internal news, intranet updates and communications to improve internal engagement and information flow.
- Assist with the preparation and update of marketing materials, including client presentations, brochures, capability statements, and CVs
Event Management
- Facilitate efficient organisation of client events and webinars, including logistics, invitations, registrations, vendor coordination, on‑site support and follow‑up communication.
- Assist with post‑event analysis and reporting to help improve future events.
Client & Market Information
- Maintain and update client lists and key contact information in Interaction and other BD tools, ensuring high data accuracy.
- Support ongoing BD and marketing initiatives with fresh perspectives and innovative ideas that contribute to continuous improvement.
Education and Experience
- Student or Graduate (Bachelor/Master) in Marketing-Business-Communication
Interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail and meticulous follow-through
- Practical, proactive, commercially minded and service driven with a "can do" and positive attitude
Language and IT skills
- Fluency in English, French considered as an asset
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Interest in digital tools and social media (LinkedIn)
