Job description
The Communications Coordinator will support the Brand, Communications and Public Affairs team in Italy. This role involves assisting in the execution of the firm's global communications strategy in the region. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Business Development and General Manager and other team members across the region to enhance the firm's brand presence and thought leadership. Key responsibilities include drafting press releases, organizing client's initiatives and events, managing marketing and sponsoring activities, intranet articles, and social media posts – all supported by AI tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the Firm's communications strategy, aligned with priority growth areas and tailored to European markets.
- Draft and distribute press releases, intranet articles, and other internal and external communications materials, utilising the firm's AI tools
- Manage and coordinate press work with the local legal press and key national press
- Support and manage the organization of client's initiatives and events, collaborating with the Team in all the aspects related to an event (mailing list, organization aspects, logistic, content management)
- Manage and coordinate the marketing initiatives (ex. strategic partnerships and sponsorships) aimed to position the Firm in its core sectors and products, in line with the Firm' strategy
- Collaborate with our global and regional internal and external communications teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
- Support the Team in drafting submission and managing legal directories
- Work with the digital team to support digital and social media strategies aimed at enhancing engagement and reach in the region.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of communications activities and contribute insights for continuous improvement.
- Some experience in internal and external communications, preferably within the legal or professional services sector.
- Some experience in events management and marketing management
- Familiarity with digital communications tools and platforms, including AI – you will be expected to use the firm's AI tools to draft communications.
- Basic knowledge of the European market, in particular Italy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English. The knowledge of Spanish is considered a plus.
