Job description
We are seeking a high-calibre Senior Associate to join our Sydney Funds & Investment Management practice, advising the establishment and offering of private funds, including advising managers on the structuring, marketing and ongoing management of such funds.
This role is well suited to a corporate lawyer with 6 - 9 years practice experience currently operating at a top-tier firm, with strong technical foundations in funds and the confidence to take ownership of complex matters, manage client relationships, and play an active role in team development and growth.
- 6–9+ years’ post-qualification experience in investment funds or funds-focused corporate work
- Australian qualified preferred, other common‑law qualified candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
- Trained and/or practising at a top-tier or international law firm, with strong exposure to sophisticated funds work
- Demonstrated experience advising fund managers and institutional clients
- Strong drafting skills and commercial judgment, with the ability to run matters day-to-day
- Confident communicator with a collaborative working style
- Interest in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to a growing practice
