Central Tax Team
What you will be responsible for
Working in Central Tax team & the responsibility is to support the end-to-end Process and to bring in new efficiencies by bringing up improvement ideas to the process.
What you will do
- Assisting with data extraction and gathering tax-related information for the preparation of Data Sheet, Form 8805 and Form 1042-S.
- Preparing the tax returns (US Tax return 1040NR) of the US Partners with the help of PDF (adobe and mapping), including EP's and NEPs using the Data Sheets.
- Updating and responding to all Internal Revenue Service (IRS) letters as per their queries.
- Updating files related to UK Tax filings, including UK Tax Information requests, rolling forward on CCH, creating questionnaires, and batch updating workflow on CCH.
- Checking balances on HMRC of Partners for UK Tax Filings.
- Extract 26AS for all Clifford Chances Entities for UK Tax Filings.
- Chasing all Global Offices to provide their Permanence/Timing Differences.
- Gathering information related to Partner Closedown Reconciliations.
- Preparing the Trial Balance Reconciliations.
- Assisting with audit activities related to Internal Audit and Statutory Audits.
- Collaborating with other team members to achieve desired results for a common objective.
- Acting as a backup for other team members and supporting activities during lean periods to ensure continuity of operations.
- Playing a dual role of acting independently and delivering results when part of a group.
Your experience
- M.Com/MBA/CMA/CWA/CA Inter.
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience in industry
- Experience of ORACLE.
- Proficient in MS Suite: Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Certification Office in Lean or Six Sigma is an advantage but not a requirement
