I work with colleagues across the US, Europe, Japan, and Australia offices. Despite our differences, we are united as part of a community that Clifford Chance is and that reflects in our work. The sense of collaboration, inclusion, mutual respect for each other's ideas, and an understanding of our differences have helped us deliver as 'one-team' every day. 

 

One of the outcomes of such an environment for me has been the learning and innovation that comes with cross-cultural teams. Everyone works together throughout the process to find a solution. A recent example of this is an insights-driven opportunity assessment; multiple ideas generated by cross-geographic teams resulted in a strong outcome. Clifford Chance is a great opportunity for people who want to make a global career in legal industry. 


What do you like most about your job? 

I love multitasking; it never gets boring. The opportunity to work alongside my colleagues, both internal and external, helps me learn stakeholder management. They are always super motivated and inspire me daily to be a valuable contributor. 


What do you notice and value most about the people? 

Integrity and kindness are two major aspects that I value most in people. I focus on leveraging their strengths and channelling their positive attitude to achieve goals. 


What is your key advice for anyone considering a career at Clifford Chance? 

Clifford Chance offers a myriad of opportunities across functions. We believe in structured processes to deliver high-quality outputs. Specifically, in research, knowledge, and marketing functions, problem-solving skills, 100% client-focus, and a passion to learn and succeed are key ingredients. 


What's the best piece of advice you've received since joining/ OR your best lesson/takeaway? 

Embrace challenges, develop relationships, and prioritise tasks. 


What motivates you/ OR what makes your worth it for you? 

Mentoring and coaching my team members; building a strong team that could be a one-stop shop for gaining actionable insights; and coming up with creative ideas to improve processes or launch new products motivates me.
