Our office is a key enabler, helping the firm deliver enhanced value to its clients. We firmly believe in two factors which are critical for our success – people and process. Our continued focus on building capable teams, along with robust processes, has enabled us to deliver excellent service and innovative solutions to our stakeholders.

Finance 

The Clifford Chance Finance team is spread across all the firm's global offices, with the team in India acting as a hub. Our India Finance team provides strong support across all three end-to-end business cycles: 

  • Order to Cash – which includes Pricing, Billing and Collections; 
  • Purchase to Pay – which includes Procurement and Accounts Payable; and 
  • Record to Report – which includes Accounting, Financial Reporting and Management Reporting. 


Along with the above teams, we also work on Tax and Treasury processes as well as host in India the global Centres of Excellence (COEs) for Control, Governance, Systems and Payroll. As part of the Global One Finance Team, we collaborate on the above areas with teams across the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific, Americas and Middle East to deliver value to the firm. All the teams, across all the firm's offices, are connected together under a single vision to be-one global team connected within a robust control environment, collaborating to deliver value for clients and colleagues across the firm. 


Global Business Support (GBS) 

Our GBS team works closely with the London GBS, Business Development and Brand, Communication and Marketing teams and is structured to support their global requirements. We offer a diverse range of high-level services. The GBS is split into three sections-the Documentation team handles word processing work, the Design team is involved in PPT and DTP designs and the BCM team carries out work related to brand, visual identity, social media and website services. 


Business & Research Solutions 

The Business & Research Solutions (BRS) team comprises of 70+ skilled professionals who provide a wide range of value-added services to the firm's global offices and functions, especially to the CMD and KETL communities. The team provides support on client and market intelligence (through business research), newsletters, knowledge processing, business development, directory submission, coupled with managing the firm's e-marketing and CRM tools, matter capture, and league table submission. 


Global HR Service Delivery  

The Global HR Service Delivery function supports HR operations across the firm's offices globally. The team delivers operational excellence through the effective and efficient delivery of end-to-end HR processes, with emphasis on transactions and specialised knowledge-based functional services. The function also provides process support on Workday business processes, Recruitment Research, Recruitment Administration, Talent Management, Learning Operations and Rewards & Benefits. 


Risk & Compliance 

The Global Risk & Compliance (R&C) Hub, located in India, comprises of a team of 30+ multi-skilled professionals led by the Regional Compliance Manager. The Hub, which forms part of the wider Global Risk and Compliance function, is responsible for mitigating risks, promoting and driving a compliance culture and fostering ethical practices within the Firm. Our team of experts, (which includes lawyers), ensure adherence to regulations, identify potential threats and cultivate a strong compliance culture. Together, we safeguard the Firm's reputation and sustainable growth. The R&C function provides expertise globally in the field of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Data Privacy, Enterprise Risk Management, Business Resilience, Conflict Management and Compliance Policies/Reporting. 


Legal Support Centre 

The Legal Support Centre (LSC) carries out low- to medium-complexity work for the firm's fee earners on a cost-effective basis, achieving significant savings. We combine superusers of legal technology with high-quality process expertise creating efficiencies and better managed workflows. We also provide support to Legal Project Managers (LPMs) through our Legal Project Analyst team, which helps to increase LPM capacity and improves the scalability of their service. 


Enterprise Core Systems 

The Enterprise Core Systems (ECS) team supports all the core enterprise applications covered under various portfolios – HR & Learning, Risk & Clearance, Finance, Partnership Management and Business Intelligence. The Document Management Operations team provides 24x7 support and works on the latest technologies, DevOps and Lean-Agile principles using the SAFe framework as a delivery mechanism. 


Global Programme Group 

Clifford Chance's GPG supports the firm in shaping and delivering its strategy by leading and orchestrating a wide range of change initiatives as a suite of transformation programmes. Our GPG team provides expertise globally in the areas of Programme and Portfolio Management, Business Analysis, Project Management and Programme Management Office. 


Legal Technology Solutions 

The Legal Technology Solutions (LTS) team, aligned to Clifford Chance's business capabilities and portfolios, is focused on delivering products/solutions with speed and agility. To better support the firm's strategy on Best Delivery, the team provides Legal Technology Support on client-facing tools and services, and automation using Robotic Process Automation and Innovation management with CC Labs.
