The Role


Job Overview

As Digital Marketing Lead, you will be leading our marketing efforts across all our digital & social channels, formulating and executing a comprehensive strategy to drive further growth and engagement of our brand and firm across our markets and helping to achieve our reputational goals.

Working closely with our BCM leadership team you will have a chance to make a real impact on refining and optimising our digital ecosystem.


What you will be responsible for

Digital Strategy:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee the global digital marketing strategy.
  • Lead a team of channel and analytics focused specialists to increase awareness, support lead generation and support the Clifford Chance business strategy
  • In collaboration with key stakeholders, own, manage and optimise all digital marketing channels.
  • Utilise strong analytical ability to provide an omni-channel experience.
  • Responsibility for planning and control of all digital marketing budgets that drives significant return on investment.
  • Deploy the global MarTech Stack and work with IT on the digital roadmap to achieve the optimal digital strategy for the firm
  • Actively contribute to the content strategy and ensure content focused activities are deployed with clear KPIs across the channels
  • Oversee the management of external agencies when required to support the delivery of the digital strategy and campaigns.


Content Marketing and Campaigns:

  • Own the digital channel and content deployment strategy to build brand awareness and deepen customer engagement at every touch point along the digital customer journey.
  • Leveraging the role of digital in integrated marketing campaigns to support brand and reputational goals.
  • Measure, analyse and report upon the performance of all campaigns and assess against goals with the focus on delivering insights, learnings and future recommendations.
  • Utilise owned, earned, and paid channels to deploy critical content and measure its effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Client Market and Development, Thought Leadership and other members of the Brand Marketing and Communications team
  • Work in collaboration with the creative design studio to ensure all campaigns create impact.



  • Mentor, develop and lead the digital team.
  • Managing a variety of stakeholders across the business to ensure we are delivering on our agreed priorities, whilst remaining responsive to new opportunities.
  • Where required, provide support, advisory and training to help implement and optimise marketing strategy.


About you

You are collaborative and enjoy mentoring and coaching your team. You are a strong communicator and can work successfully with cross-functional stakeholders. You are a creative thinker with an eye for data and analysis, and are results driven thinking practically and proactively to make things happen


Your Experience 

  • Global, Digital marketing team manager with a track record of driving successful thought leadership campaigns through effective content and digital marketing deployment.
  • More than 10 years leading a digital/social function within a large global company.
  • Developed and implemented digital and channel strategies.
  • Delivered complex, large-scale projects like digital transformation and website restructures.
  • Experience of working with cross functional teams
  • Lead a team.
  • Tech Requirements: Adobe full tech stack, Marketing Automation (Marketo, Campaign), Chat  and Social
