Job Overview

Clifford Chance Casablanca office is a strategic platform for business in North Africa and West Africa. We advise leading Moroccan, African and international corporates, banks and financial institutions, investors and public and government entities on their development in Morocco and across the whole continent, with a special focus on Francophone Africa. We offer the full spectrum of legal advice that clients can expect from a global leading law firm. In particular, we have incredibly strong capabilities and unrivalled experience in both M&A / Private Equity and Finance transactions. We are fully integrated into our worldwide M&A / Private Equity and Finance practices to ensure that we bring the best of Clifford Chance on each mandate.

What you will do

You will provide legal and commercial expertise predominantly on complex M&A transactions, large scale re-organisations and joint venture arrangements as well as corporate advisory work; across a wide range of sectors including financial services, CG&R (commercial goods & retail), healthcare, industrials, natural resources, real estate, aviation and technology.

You will be developing relationships with clients and actively engaging in business development and thought leadership initiatives and seeking out opportunities for new work.

Your career experience so far

• You have at least 4 years of experience in corporate M&A advising complex international clients within a leading law firm.
• You are qualified to practice law in France.
• You have a strong academic background.
• You are fluent in English and French.
• You demonstrate strong document drafting, communication, and analytical skills along with a high level of commercial awareness.
• You are well-organized, client friendly and commercial in your approach.
