Job Description

The role

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Learning Management System Administrator & E-Learning Specialist who is passionate about connections between people and content. You will be responsible for the technical administration of Clifford Chance Academy. 

You will be a key player as we look to elevate our LMS.  You will ensure our people and leaders have a world class learning experience and access to leading edge platforms and tools to develop and grow.

 

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Lead e-learning course authoring alongside the Learning and Leadership development design team for complex projects with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Manage senior stakeholders – solve complex problems, communicate, and manage expectations around course design, possible challenges, and Cornerstone related requests.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for learning technology platforms, working with cross- functional teams to execute on change/enhancement requests.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders of internal teams such as Learning and Leadership Development team, Global Service Delivery, Regional HR, IT etc. to define, deliver, and assist with product development backlog, user stories and features roadmap.
  • Build a structure and keep track of all e-learning courses, help resources, instructional videos, how-to guides, and FAQs related to the usage of the learning management system, instructional technology, and documents relevant data about the learning tools.
  • Interact with global external providers and agencies regularly on course and blended learning programme related tasks.
  • Facilitates the escalation of and resolution for IT issues connected to the learning management system and/or external tools.
  • Partner with the Global Analytics team to build the standard reports as per the business needs.
  • Ensure standard procedures are documented, followed, and continuously improved.
  • Ensure the platform complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Write and maintain procedure and policy documentation to ensure the security and integrity of the LMS and related systems.
  • The role holder would be expected to work with the tech lead on functional requirements gathering and testing and to support the testing of relevant functional changes that are delivered through the Cornerstone release programme. Currently there are 3 releases per year.

Qualifications

Your experience

Skills/ Experience:

  • Any graduate/postgraduate with minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in Learning Management system maintenance and administration.
  • Experience in Cornerstone on Demand (CSoD) and e-learning tools is mandatory, working with a global multinational organisation.
  • Hands-on experience in tools such as Articulate (Rise & Storyline) and Camtasia is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).  Ability to plan projects via MS Teams is desirable.
  • You will be liaising with multiple internal stakeholders and external contacts at all levels so you will have outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to establish good relationships quickly. 
  • You will be capable of working with minimum supervision and are a self-starter. Your strong organisational skills (being able to juggle tasks and deliver on deadlines) will be essential in this role.
  • An excellent communicator, you should have an eye for detail, be quality-driven and thorough in your approach. Service minded yet having a questioning attitude, you are responsive, able to prioritise, with the ability to work well as part of a team and individually with sensitivity and discretion.
