The Role
- The Global Brand, Communications and Marketing (BCM) team advises and supports the firm in achieving our vision and delivering the strategy by:
- Developing and reinforcing a coherent and consistent reputation and profile with target audiences, in line with our desired market position.
- Ensuring that our people understand what our vision and strategy mean for them, and that they are engaged and motivated to do what is required to support the delivery of the strategy.
- BCM activities share the same characteristics as the legal advice on which our reputation is based, namely high-quality, sector-leading work executed with integrity.
- BCM is a global function, working across all practice areas and business professionals functions.
Key Responsibilities
The Role will work within a team of colleagues in managing below listed activities:
- To support Event's specialists across the global offices, Europe as a back-end support.
- To work alongside BCM team
- To develop a strong understanding of firm's client events and respective processes aligned
- Capture and update information in InterAction, Eventogy and other applicable event tools and platforms
- Coordinate with various internal stakeholders and ensure timely completion of assigned activities
- Managing common process mailboxes
- Compile all relevant post event information and update respective reporting tools accordingly
- Regularly checking and updating our central events portal with completed and upcoming events
- Following agreed process documented in Standard Operating Procedure and updating changes on a regular basis
- Support in performing a variety of scheduled and ad-hoc exercises (like updating spreadsheets from our website, upload data in central repositories, client event activities, etc.)
- Help supporting the set-up and implementation of the various processes and procedures in relation to the delivery of a suite of standard events for our clients
- Support the London team in the management of our corporate memberships (including the Clifford Chance suite at the O2)
- Forge strong connections and harmonise your efforts across the GBS EA Hub and the wider teams
Your experience
The successful candidate should have:
- An excellent commitment to client service, delivery and timeliness along with essential demonstrable skills in working collaboratively and co-operatively with global teams
- An excellent attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Should have at least 1 year of experience in leading digital events with clients and internal audiences
- Proactive approach
- Should have Intermediate expertise on MS suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentational skills
- The intellectual rigour and insight to be credible with a highly intelligent and experienced group of personnel
Experience:
- Exposure to managing multiple stakeholders
- Previous law firm experience will be preferred
- Exposure to global shared services team model
- At least 2 years of experience in leading or participating in conference calls
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's/master's degree from a reputed institute
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience at a multinational organisation, working at the shared services division of a global firm, handling global client and stakeholder interactions
