Job Description

The Role

 

This position involves collaborating with a team to assist and support the firm's CRM and CMD functions, specifically in relation to marketing strategy, within the context of the Foundation system and Matter Capture process. The role predominantly involves delivering client services, managing business expectations, and interacting directly with various business professionals worldwide to facilitate a broad spectrum of activities.

 

This role requires the candidate to operate during regular working hours of UK time zones, and ideally having the flexibility to provide additional support, depending on deadline business requirements

 

Key Responsibilities

 

The responsibilities of the CMD Analyst can be broadly split into the following key areas:

 

Business Processes

  • Oversee and manage the Foundation system and Matter Capture process within the organization, ensuring its smooth operation.
  • Understand the firm's operational requirements and data privacy practices to provide appropriate support in daily and ad-hoc business activities. This includes supporting matter engagement tasks in the matter management tool, preparing bespoke reports, managing league table activities, etc.
  • Ensure effective implementation of various procedures to deliver all reporting requirements in a timely manner.
  • Support business implementation tasks related to projects.
  • Provide end-user assistance to all business professionals and manage regular email communications independently.
  • Develop skills to manage complex requests efficiently.
  • Identify potential issues or challenges and report them to the supervisor in a timely manner to initiate appropriate actions.

 

Cross-Functional Support

  • Work collaboratively with various teams to accomplish shared tasks and provide or collect necessary information as per the requirements of the request.

 

Team Support

  • Support team members by answering specific questions about processes.
  • Work proactively with the supervisor to propose improvements to current processes.

 

Documentation

  • Update documentation as per relevant guidelines.
  • Accurately maintain self-data in team trackers.

Qualifications

Your experience

 

The successful candidate should have:

An excellent commitment to client service, delivery, and timeliness along with essential demonstrable skills in working collaboratively and co-operatively with global teams

  • An excellent attention-to-detail.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced proof-reading skills.
  • Intermediate research & administrative skills.
  • Should have basic expertise in MS suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentational skills.
  • The intellectual rigor and insight to be credible with a highly intelligent and experienced group of personnel.

 

Experience:

  • Exposure to managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Previous law firm experience will be preferable.
  • Exposure to the global shared services team model.

 

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's/master's degree from a reputed institute.
  • 0 to 1 years of experience in a corporate/MNC.
