The Role
Working in Record to Report team whose responsibility is to support the end-to-end Process and to bring in new efficiencies by bringing up improvement ideas to the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Process expert in preparation of the Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Process of Month End closure of the Books.
- General Ledger Analysis including Accruals, Prepayments, Fixed Assets, and other payables/ receivables.
- Compile and analyse financial information to prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger. Analysis and clearing of the Aged/ Open Items standing in the Reconciliations.
- Need to improve & optimize the processes over time.
- Excellent Data Analytical skills in executing data cleansing of the historical balance sheet items & validation to support the Project schedule.
- Work closely with the team leader to develop plans and assist with business requirements, problem resolution, and functional decisions.
- Responsible for assisting and sharing the progress reports, dashboards of the Projects with the Management.
- To understand the principles which underline the processes carried out by the function and to give feedback to this function where appropriate.
- Go-to person for the responsible process and will be responsible for conducting trainings, refreshers and updating documentation & controls.
- Enthusiastic team-player who can combine creativity and expert skills in solving complex problems.
- Collaborate and work with multiple global stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- Proven ability to handle complexity of the Finance Processes.
- Strong problem solving, trouble shooting and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meeting timelines.
- Highly motivated and creative, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Positive attitude and dedication.
- Comfortable working in a team as well as on your own
Your experience
- Candidate should be qualified Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant or an experienced MBA.
- 3+ years Post Qualification experience in Industry.
- Experience in Record to Report Process will be preferred.
- Experience of ORACLE & HFM.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
