Job description
- Assist in advising clients on restructuring options, including formal and informal arrangements.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on issues regarding restructuring and insolvency laws.
- Draft and prepare necessary legal documents such as petitions, affidavits, and court submissions.
- Collaborate with international and local teams to develop strategic solutions for clients.
- Engage in negotiations with stakeholders, including creditors, debtors, and legal representatives.
- Attend court proceedings and client meetings to support senior associates and partners.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Singapore's restructuring and insolvency regulations
- Qualified to practise law in Singapore with a strong academic background.
- 2+ years of post-qualification experience (UK Scale) in restructuring and insolvency or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
