Job Description
This role will allow the successful candidate to act for developers and investors on a range of complex real estate, corporate real estate and real estate funds transactions including acquisitions and disposals of assets (direct and indirect), leasing, development and urban renewal, real estate fund/trust arrangements, real estate joint ventures and co-ownership arrangements and platform transactions/real estate M&A.
While we are seeking a candidate who is motivated to gain experience on this variety of work, prior experience in all of these areas is not essential.
Qualifications
We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate and Senior Associate with transactional experience in real estate to join our Real Estate team in Sydney. Interested candidates will be:
- Commonwealth qualified
- Associate - at least 6 months to 2 years' practice experience in real estate
- Senior Associate - at least 4 years' practice experience in real estate
- Enthusiastic, emotionally intelligent and demonstrates a keen interest in our clients' businesses;
- Recognised as producing innovative and commercial solutions for their clients;
- Pro-active in identifying issues and able to work with clients in solving them;
- Able to engender confidence in clients and collaborate with them;
- Understand how to deliver a transaction to clients that meets their objective in a time critical manner; and
- Demonstrate excellent managerial skills for client relationships and the ability to deepen and enhance existing relationships.
