This role will support the Principal Cloud Engineer with the overall delivery of cloud and infrastructure services of the firm, specifically around automating the environments for Legal Technology Solutions applications in Azure Cloud and Clifford Chance.

They will be helping in the integration of third-party systems in Azure Cloud, along with automation opportunities for internal infrastructure. They will collaborate with LTS stakeholders, Data Science, Infrastructure Operations and Security

Ensure that cloud and automation requirements for Legal Technology Services and Infrastructure Operations are supported and developed to the highest standard and as per industry best practices, to satisfy operational and business requirements.

  • Administer a hybrid cloud environment powered by Microsoft Azure
  • Troubleshoot and fix any issues that may arise on the Azure public cloud stack
  • Automate cloud deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Provision and maintain various Azure resources based on the requirement
  • Create supporting documentation for cloud services, processes, and maintenance activities
  • Enhance the existing cloud stack by suggesting and implementing improvements
  • Ensure the availability of the production and non-production cloud resources
  • Respond to alerts and tickets related to cloud services
  • Keep a tab on updates, announcements and vulnerabilities that directly or indirectly affect our cloud estate

Qualifications

Experience & Skills

Essential

  • Comprehensive understanding and experience with Azure core services – Compute, Network & Storage
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Applications, Azure AD Authentication (OAuth, SSO, etc.), User/Group management, and RBAC
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Container Registry and Application Gateway
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining container-based applications
  • Experience with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, RedHat, etc.)
  • Ability to automate tasks using scripts
  • Experience with App Service, Azure Functions and Logic Apps
  • Experience with Power Platform

 

Desirable

  •  Good understanding of ARM or Bicep templates
  • Understanding of the Azure data stack (Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks, etc.)
  • Ability to develop solutions using Python, PowerShell and Bash
  • Understanding of Azure Security stack (Sentinel, Firewall, Defender, etc.)
