Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

 

Clifford Chance US LLP is seeking a full time Communications Coordinator with exceptional writing, marketing, and communication skills. This role is ideal for someone who is a creative thinker and self-starter. This role will work closely with the regional Communications Team, Client & Marketing team, partners, lawyers, and Business Professionals. This position can be located in either our New York, Washington DC or Houston office. This position will report to the Head of Brand, Communications & Marketing – Americas.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Website: Draft, review and update content on the Americas sections of the Firm's global website and Careers Microsite. Work with the Digital Marketing team on website content and strategy.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Provide concept, drafting and proofing support to BCM and CMD teams on internal and external marketing campaigns across groups (IT, HR, Alumni, etc.) and practices/sectors (e.g., Energy & Infrastructure, Technology, Healthcare & Life Sciences).
  • Social and Digital Media: Draft and review content for Americas social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram (Careers) and YouTube. Work with the BCM team to report analytics to senior stakeholders. Support the production of new media: podcasts, videos, webinars through scripting, guidance on production, scheduling and measurement.
  • Internal Communications: Create written content for CC Today and provide Americas content for global channels. Support on the development of internal communications for regional internal campaigns (all media types).
  • External Communications & Public Relations: Media monitoring, maintaining press contacts and databases. Support on the drafting, review and publishing of regional press releases.
  • Events: Provide communications and social media support for internal and external events.
  • Team Administration: Ensure workflow tracking is maintained and up-to-date to facilitate reporting.
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned by the Head of Brand, Communications & Marketing – Americas.

 

Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $62-75k. The actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.


Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in copywriting, creative content, and communications is required preferred
  • Exceptional drafting, writing, and editing skills
  • Professional and personable attitude with the ability to work appropriately at all levels of an organization and on a local, regional, and global level
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to also see the big picture
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and urgent situations as they arise while meeting deadlines
  • Able to quickly adapt to the team environment but also able to work independently
  • Willing to take on the range of tasks required to get the job done to the highest standards
  • A creative thinker able to produce materials that are unique, appropriate, and memorable
  • A self-starter who takes the initiative to move projects and initiatives along with minimal supervision
  • Awareness of social media, media, news, and editorial priorities
  • Understanding of print, design, and graphic production processes
  • Comfortable with technology; audio, filming, and video production is a plus
  • Experience with and an understanding of social media (process, opportunities, and risks)
  • Commercially aware, sensitive to the concerns and needs of internal and external clients
  • Possess a good understanding of macro/business trends and relevant products
  • Able to keep up to date with the evolving trends in marketing and communications
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adjust work schedules as needed
  • Must be independently legally authorized to work in the United States
