The Role
The primary responsibilities of this role involve the design, development and delivery of quantitative and qualitative management information to a wide variety of global groups both internal and external to HR. Metrics produced are both global and regional specific, dependent upon the target audience.
Who you will work with
You will work with our high performing HR MI & Analytics team and this role gives you an exciting opportunity to – be part of a team of experienced HR Data Analytics Specialists who support the firm's strategic objectives, enabled by data driven insights and decision making.
What you will be responsible for
HR Standard Reporting and Analytics
- Support the regions, Communities of Expertise and senior stakeholders by providing detailed and accurate HR analysis and reporting including, but not limited to, FTE and headcount data, People Survey, pulse surveys, attrition, capacity, People scorecards, etc.
- Build predictive models from multiple data sources, develop advanced algorithms that extract and classify information from large datasets.
- Production/enhancement of monthly management packs providing value added analysis to help stakeholders identify trends and recommend focus on hotspots.
- Devise ad-hoc metrics and analysis to support HR strategic initiatives performing the role of subject matter expert.
- Work with the team to solve complex business problems using advanced data analytics and reporting.
- Use data to develop tactical statistical models to understand business opportunity and improvement areas.
- Troubleshoot and ensure quality of data and reports; advocate the effective use of HR systems and data by promoting standard definitions of HR data and metrics in the region.
- Establish strong relationships with counterparts at global, regional and local levels in order to effectively collect, interpret and compile data as needed.
- Uphold data integrity by continuously identifying and highlighting inconsistencies for relevant operational owners to rectify and by testing new features/functions of HR systems.
- Continually look to expand knowledge on workforce metrics to add value to the reporting output.
- Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and promote best practice at all times.
HR projects and ad-hoc requests
- Support HR data and reporting requests by providing benchmarks, historical data and responding to requests and questions related to HR data.
- Provide support for change management on analytics-related and other HR projects
Digitizing Reporting
- Participate proactively in proposing and implementing solutions for making HR reporting processes more efficient and effective.
- Automate standard reports and design user-friendly, business-relevant templates that promote self service.
- Manage ETL (extract, transform and load of data), data visualization and dashboard development activities.
What you will do
- Data Collection & Management: Gather data from various HR systems, such as HRIS (Workday), ATS (SmartRecruiters), LMS (Cornerstone on Demand), to ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and implementing data quality checks.
- Report Generation: Create standard and ad hoc HR reports, including headcount, turnover, diversity, compensation, and benefits reports. Develop and maintain dashboards that provide visual insights into key HR metrics. Customize reports to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders, including HR leaders, business managers, and executives.
- Data Analysis: Analyse HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform HR strategies and initiatives.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements by providing accurate and timely reports. Prepare reports for internal audits, external audits, and compliance purposes.
- HR Metrics and KPIs: Define, track, and report on key HR metrics and performance indicators. Monitor and analyse HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Provide recommendations for improving HR processes based on data analysis.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and other HR functions to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights. Collaborate with IT and HRIS teams to enhance reporting capabilities and streamline data extraction processes
Your experience
- In order to perform this role, you should have solid reporting experience in a similar role.
- You will be analytical, highly numerate. Excellent data handling and analytical skills, including experience of working with various data sources.
- A working knowledge of Workday and Workday reporting is essential.
- Awareness of Global & European data protection requirements (GDPR) and practices
- Knowledge of Excel, Workday Reporting, SQL, Power BI, Qualtrix & Visier.
- Knowledge of R programming, Python, Tableau and other analytical tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of HR processes and HR technology applications and professional experience in HR or supporting HR analytics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work in a highly client focused environment with an ability to present to audiences of a senior level.
- You must have the ability to work as part of a team and individually manage your workload to ensure that targets are met.
- You should possess good decision making and problem-solving skills to work as a subject matter expert, having the judgement to escalate complex problems when necessary and the ability to work under pressure at times often to tight deadlines
