Key responsibilities
- Sound knowledge in the R2R aspects, majorly includes Accruals, Prepayments, Fixed Assets (capitalization, depreciation and disposals), Bank and balance sheet reconciliations and other month-end close areas
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger;
- Perform detailed review, analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and financial information to ensure smooth execution and closure of books on time.
- Preparing and circulating the management reports;
- Expert knowledge of accounting systems (Preferably Oracle / HFM);
- To ensure that all required controls in operational process are adhered to in compliance with Group's policies and procedures. Co-ordinate the timing submission of the monthly control checklist.
- Work closely with manager to develop plans and assist with business requirements, problem resolution, and functional decisions.
- Responsible for assisting and sharing the progress reports, dashboards of the Projects with the Management.
- Possess strong technical skills to navigate and manage different systems as well as strong problem-solving skills;
- Collaborate and work with multiple global stakeholders;
- Share the best practices

Skills & Experience
- Team handling experience is a must. Leadership capabilities with a record of developing individuals in small to medium teams.
- Six Sigma Certification will be added advantage
- Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills required.
