The Role
This role has responsibility for the oversight of Compensation & Benefits and requires solid local law/regulatory knowledge.
What you will be responsible for
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Payroll management: Updating payroll parameters each month in close collaboration with the external payroll provider. Maintain and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
- Administer all additional benefits (calculation, recording and communication to employees): lunch vouchers, complementary company pension scheme, seniority awards, occupational health insurance.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for health and pension cover, in charge of the relationship with the external provider and updating contracts accordingly.
- In close cooperation with our HR Services team ensure the smooth running of HR Operations, including joiners and leavers, absence management.
- Manage the timely reporting to local authorities on absence management (social security, health insurance).
- Contributing to the development and deployment of all global and regional HR projects related to Comp & Ben and to service delivery matters.
- Manage the administrative part of the legal qualification process for lawyers (bar fee administration, bar registration process, study leave calculation).
- Manage the required reporting of remote working especially for frontier commuters.
- Local Training reporting and its administration. Ensure all training courses are captured in our training platform INFPC administration including recording and management to ensure accurate refund.
Your experience
- A university degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Law or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience especially in local payroll management, ideally in a major law firm or a professional services firm.
- Experience in project management, HRIS and process optimisation.
- Strong interest in HR Systems with an excellent knowledge of HRIS, a good command of Workday will be considered a strong asset.
- Very strong command of the MS Office Suite. Advanced Knowledge of Excel is required.
- Knowledge of Luxembourg Employment Law is a must.
- An excellent command of English is required. French, German or Luxembourgish are considered an asset.
