The Role
- Build on the existing strategy to implement a comprehensive and innovative regional talent acquisition strategy for early talent and lateral hiring in the APAC region, ensuring alignment with global talent acquisition strategies and business objectives.
- Lead, manage, and develop a small team of talent acquisition and regional early talent specialists, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive performance and success.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand talent needs, identify key trends, and provide data-driven insights to inform talent acquisition decision-making.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions to build a pipeline of early talent for the organization.
- Leverage technology and creative approaches to engage, hire, and retain the best and most diverse early talent candidates.
- Partner with internal teams to create and deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring a consistent approach across the APAC region.
- Develop and execute targeted employer branding initiatives including our ACCEPT and ADAPT conferences to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice in the APAC market.
- Continuously evaluate and improve talent acquisition processes, tools, and technologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the recruitment cycle.
- Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing talent acquisition strategies.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation and regulations, as well as adherence to the company's policies and procedures.
You will
- Have experience ideally gained within a law firm or professional services firm.
- Be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of recruitment methodology and candidate engagement for early talent and lateral talent.
- Understand how to demonstrate the business impact of recruitment via measures and metrics.
- Have had experience of project management, with the ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders, manage expectations and communicate progress effectively.
- Have had experience of team management, line management, coaching and developing team members, and giving feedback and delivering appraisals.
- Be able to demonstrate experience in developing employer branding and marketing campaigns.
- Have had experience of sourcing candidates directly through social media, networking, market mapping and approaches.
- Have excellent communication skills with proven experience of building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Also be experienced in providing solutions to often complex issues.
- Have the ability to meet deadlines.
- Have strong planning and organizational skills and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Also have the desire to innovate and challenge the status quo.
- Enjoy working with technology and have strong technical skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
