Job Description

The Role

 

Our Client & Market Development (CMD) function is pivotal in making the firm's vision a reality. CMD teams work across the firm, both strategically and operationally, with partners to (i) raise awareness, establish credibility, and strengthen our brand in key markets, industries, and product areas; (ii) win new business; and (iii) protect and grow profitable relationships with priority clients.

The purpose of this position is to collaborate with a team of colleagues to assist and support the firm's CRM and CMD functions specifically for the purpose of marketing strategy. The role primarily entails providing client services, managing business expectations, and engaging directly with various business professionals globally to support a wide range of activities.

This role requires the candidate to operate during regular working hours of UK time zones, and ideally have the flexibility to provide additional support, depending on deadline business requirements

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

The responsibilities of the CMD Senior Analyst can be broadly split into the following key areas:

 

  • Understanding the firm's operational requirements and data privacy practices
  • Offering end-user assistance to all business professionals
  • Providing administrative support and whenever required, collaborating with teams across divergent functions
  • Completing assigned tasks according to standard operating procedures and quality standards
  • Assisting in implementing procedures for meeting reporting requirements based on guidance from senior team members
  • Independently managing regular email communications with requestors and driving tasks to completion by timely follow-ups with requestors
  • Planning and organizing own work and keeping the Team lead informed of task status
  • Conducting self-review of results before submitting them to the Team lead or requestors
  • Identifying and highlighting potential issues or challenges to the Team lead in a timely manner
  • Reviewing and cleansing data to meet business requirements
  • Providing additional support for activities in the CRM database, such as ongoing clean-up and maintenance, and guiding analysts in executing these tasks
  • Assisting in projects to improve data integrity in marketing systems based on guidance from supervisors and onshore teams
  • Establishing yourself as a subject matter expert (SME) and developing the ability to manage complex requests
  • Proactively collaborating with the supervisor to propose process improvements
  • Supporting team members by addressing specific questions about processes
  • Creating documentation for knowledge content based on guidance from senior team members
  • Maintaining accurate self-data in team trackers
  • Assisting in various scheduled and ad-hoc exercises, such as preparing newsletters with weekly updates on Business Development activities and performing customized open Internet searches.

Qualifications

Your experience

 

  • Excellent English language skills (oral and written), with a demonstrated capability of developing client-facing documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks simultaneously and as part of a team but still be able to function independently.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to understand business situations and provide data-backed analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with colleagues working from other locations
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Intellectual curiosity

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of work experience in a corporate/MNC
