The role

Technical Lead will be an integral part of Product Management team of Clifford Chance. The role will be responsible for designing and development of enterprise solutions. This role demands someone with high analytical ability and who is highly committed and motivated. It also requires strong ability to understand technical aspects of project, organizing and prioritizing own deliveries, performing code reviews, mentoring peers and junior team members and providing regular project updates. The person should have good communication skills, excellent at removing impediments and breaking down complex tasks into simple easy to complete milestones, willing to jump in and solve the problem.

  • Solve complex business problems using technical knowledge
  • Deliver the application feature using shortest possible lead time
  • Improve the overall code base of the applications by ensuring compliance to coding standards and guidelines
  • Effectively perform the code reviews of the team members and able to extract the quality code from them

 

Key Accountabilities:

What you will be doing:

  • Person will be involved in GPMS, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports , 11i, development, using SQL, PL/SQL package creation, Stylesheet creation, execution and deployment
  • Development and Support for Pref-Oracle Financial applications (Accounts Payables/ General Ledger/ Cash Management) and will be involved in performing system admin activities
  • Unit Testing of GPMS applications (Keystone, Oracle Financials & Business Intake – INTAPP) and Integrations
  • Technical Documentation (Low Level Design, Technical specification/approach, PoC/Spikes) and scripted unit testing
  • Performing peer reviews
  • Experience of working in Agile Methodologies from development process perspective will be an advantage
  • Person will be involved in Sprint cadence meetings and Projects meetings

What we need:

  • Minimum 5 Years of experience in development for IT Applications with knowledge and experience of Oracle Financials.
  • An in depth understanding of how Finance function works

Technical requirements:

  • Substantial technology experience of more than 5 years on Oracle Forms and Reports using SQL, PL/SQL
  • Must have experience on Oracle Financial Applications like Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Cash Management
  • Must have experience in HTML, Stylesheets development and writing macros
  • Must have experience on Oracle R12 Dev Suite
  • Should have good command on tuning concepts/ performance optimization
  • Should have good understanding of Scrum activities like backlog refinement, release planning, PI planning and various sprint reports

Additional requirements:

  • Working experience on SAP Fulcrum GT platform will be an added advantage
  • Visual Studio 2022 and above, Experience with configuration and design tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS), Visio etc.

Personal Success Characteristics:

  • Candidate should have very strong communication skills being required for this role. Must be capable of interacting with solution architects, SMEs/ business users and other technology teams
  • Candidate should have good team collaboration skills, high level of attention to detail and good analytical\research capabilities
  • Candidate should be –
      • Punctual, organised and efficient - ability to meet a daily publication deadline
      • Ability to think laterally
      • Strong adherence to processes and ability to solve the problems creatively
      • Ability to remain calm and work effectively with clients when under pressure
      • Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education & Experience

  • Total 8+yrs experience in IT with 5 years of experience in managing Financial applications
  • Requires B.E./B.Tech/MCA from reputed college with high grades, and strong relevant professional experience

 

  • Working on SAP Fulcrum GT platform will be an added plus
