Job Description

The Product Manager will be responsible for the management of the Client and Market Development suite of tools. This role is crucial in driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our products to support business objectives, enhance client relationships, and propel revenue growth.

Who you will work with
The role sits in the Global Client & Legal Knowledge Team, reporting to the Director of Client & Legal Knowledge.  
The Client & Legal Knowledge Product Manager will principally work with:
•    Global Business Development Directors
•    Global Head of Operations: Clients, Markets and Products
•    Business Development and wider C&MD Teams
•    Partners, Lawyers, Practice Assistants
•    KETL 
•    Global Programme Group
•    Delhi Service Centres
What you will do
Vision & Strategy
•    Develop and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap, with the Director of Client & Legal Knowledge and other key stakeholders, for the suite of CMD Products aligning with the firm’s overall business objectives. 
•    Identify opportunities for technology improvements to enhance business development and client engagement efforts. 
•    Conduct research to understand the needs of our clients, lawyers and BD communities to support the vision & strategy.
Product Development & Management
•    Own the product roadmap, aligning with the business, cross-functional partners (Partners, Business Development, and the Leadership team). 
•    Take a user-centric approach to enhancements.
•    Oversee the full product lifecycle from user research, requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. 
•    Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including partners, lawyers, and business professionals, to ensure product alignment with business needs and CC strategy
•    Oversee the experience management programme and administration of Client Development suite of products
•    Prioritise features and enhancements based on business impact, user feedback, and resource availability.
•    Work with key colleagues to translate business requirements into practical applications and business workflows
Cross-Functional Leadership
•    Build and lead a cross-functional team within the Business Development Operations function, including IT, marketing, and business development professionals. 
•    Foster a collaborative team environment and promote effective communication and project management practices. 
•    Coordinate with external vendors and technology partners to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the systems.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
•    Align products with the firm’s data strategy and governance practice to enable business workflows and support effective reporting.
•    Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor product performance and user satisfaction. 
•    Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management on product status, usage metrics, and revenue impact. 
•    Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve products and systems based on user input and evolving business needs. 


Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
•    Strong understanding of CRM systems, legal technology, and data management principles. 
•    Strong stakeholder management
•    Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
Desirable
•    Experience of continuous improvement methodologies
•    Systems thinking
•    User experience research
Your experience  
•    Minimum of 5 years of product management experience or similar role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. 
•    Proven track record of managing CRM systems and legal software, with specific experience in Litera/ Foundation highly desirable.
•    Experience of leading or working on large scale data projects
•    Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a cross-functional team. 
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable plans.

Hybrid Working
