The Role
The Communications Specialist – Digital Transformation Projects Role is a member of the global Brand Communications and Marketing (BCM) team.
This role will provide support to Clifford Chance's Global Programme Group (GPG) in delivering communications for a wide range of Transformation, Technology and Digital Strategy focused implementation activities.
You will develop effective relationships with a range of project team members and work with these teams to convert communications strategies and plans into delivering purposeful, engaging, and impactful communications for a range of internal stakeholders.
Who you will work with
In this role, you will work with:
- GPG team members
- Senior stakeholder and individual project team members for Transformation, Technology and Data Strategy projects
- Members of the global Brand Communications and Marketing team.
What you will do
- Developing compelling copy that brings the project strategy to life
- Writing creative, impactful, and effective communications for written, digital and face to face communications. These may include events such as presentations, emails, social media posts, videos and town hall meetings
- Understanding the IT strategy and implementation strategies to build and a compelling narrative that informs, engages and inspires implementation and adoption activities
- Aligning project communications with the firm's wider communications across key internal channels
- Regularly evaluating the impact and effectiveness of the communications outputs and adapting them accordingly. Making full use of the available channels and tools to measure the effectiveness of communications
Your experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of advising and supporting project team members and project stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and significant experience in copywriting
- Ability to work with a wide range of internal stakeholders and instil trust and confidence
- Experience of supporting significant communications programmes and their associated workstreams
- A strong attention to detail
- Knowledge and experience of communications channels including email, digital, intranet, video, enterprise-wide social media and publishing tools
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels, including remotely in international offices, with a professional, confident manner
- Networking skills with ability to influence and inspire change
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the right skills and experience to work on several projects at once.

The Global BCM team meets regularly via a wide range of updates and briefings designed to achieve knowledge understanding and alignment for all communications activities across the firm.
This team regularly manages global initiatives which allows team members to connect with global colleagues and to build experience and skills outside of their daily work. This team also develops and delivers specific training for the team which focuses on the specialist skills required.

Hybrid Working
This role follows our 'balanced' hybrid working approach and as long as business needs allow, you will be supported to work in a hybrid way with the expectation of working from the office for a minimum of 50% of your time.
