The role

The Clients & Sectors Team devise and implement a timetable of client-oriented, firm-wide campaign initiatives that are anchored in principal sectors and global themes, in addition to this they provide strategic marketing direction and support to core teams and GBUs.

The Global Marketing Executive for Clients & Sectors plays a pivotal role in crafting and implementing the worldwide marketing and communications strategy for the Global Tech Group and Financial Investors Teams. Collaborating closely with the Global Marketing Leads for both the Tech Group and Financial Investors, this position is instrumental in executing marketing campaigns. These initiatives are designed to enhance the firm's brand reputation within the technology and financial investors space, elevate the profile of key spokespersons, and foster meaningful engagement with clients.

Who you will work with

The Clients & Sectors Team sits within the wider Brand, Communications & Marketing (BCM) function which plays a critical role in supporting the Firm in pursuing its strategic objectives. The BCM team proactively manages the Firm's brand and reputation across key stakeholder groups, supports internal engagement and alignment with the Firm's strategy and develops our profile in support of our commercial objectives.

The Global Marketing & Communications Executive must engage in close collaboration with the Tech and Financial Investors Teams, alongside pivotal stakeholders within Client and Market Development, Brand, Communications & Marketing, and Knowledge, Education & Thought Leadership Teams. This role entails understanding and conveying key messages, driving effective campaign activities, and assimilating insights from past experiences to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

 

What you will do

Brand and Strategy Development:

  • Contribute to the creation of marketing strategies for the Tech Group and Financial Investors.
  • Assist in the ongoing communication of core messaging for Tech Group and Financial Investors, maintain messaging documentation and manage updates.
  • Contribute the Clients and Sectors Team Planning.

 

Campaign Management:

  • Support in planning and implementation of pivotal marketing campaigns, concentrating on the organisation's primary sectors and themes to drive brand engagement and business growth.
  • Collaborate with CMD, KETL, and BCM teams to facilitate seamless campaign execution, ensuring communication channels are optimised for efficiency and clarity.
  • Engage closely with the CMD to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Core and Global Strategic Client (GSC) portfolios, ensuring that campaign objectives are clearly defined and mutually agreed upon at the outset.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within the Technology Group and Financial Investors Group.
  • Play a key role in the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into the marketing department's strategic framework, with the aim of enhancing the planning, activation, and measurement of marketing campaign activities.
  • Manage and enhance social media presence by assuming responsibility for content calendars, social media strategies, and the creation of engaging posts for platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager and the Digital Team based in Delhi to align and execute digital initiatives effectively.
  • Develop a robust framework for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign success, enabling continuous assessment and refinement of marketing strategies to maximise return on investment.

 

Digital Marketing:

  • Evaluate and select the most effective digital marketing channels to reach and engage our intended audience, ensuring that each channel is optimised for maximum impact and aligns with our broader marketing objectives.
  • Develop and execute digital channel strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance online presence and foster meaningful interactions with clients and prospects.
  • Work in partnership with the Digital Team to manage and improve Tech and FI's web pages, improving visitor experience.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in digital marketing, incorporating new features and updates into our marketing initiatives.

 

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • In response to agreed KPI's, collate marketing analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, identify insights to inform future marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Develop tailored processes for campaigns, ensuring each is designed to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and record client interactions and instructions stemming from marketing campaigns, using this data to gauge engagement levels and inform subsequent campaign efforts.

 

Event Coordination:

  • Work with the central events team in the planning and delivery of Tech Group and FI's events, identify the appropriate format for the audience and ensure each event is executed to the highest standard.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners work with them to identify opportunities that will enhance the firm's visibility, providing a platform for our key spokespeople and thought leadership.
  • Working in close collaboration with the BCM, CMD and KETL Teams, oversee the organisation of event logistics, including the management of event timetables, the curation of targeted mailing lists, the coordination of speakers, and the timely distribution of invitations. Ensure robust follow-up communication strategies are in place to maximise engagement post-event.

Qualifications

Your experience

We are looking for an experienced marketer with:

  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • A tenacious, collaborative and pragmatic approach to working.
  • Creativity and commercial understanding.
  • An international mindset, able to work across multiple markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with research using data analytics software a plus.
  • Past work experience in a marketing role in a fast paced environment.

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Degree in marketing, business, communications or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and email software.
