Job Overview

You will work as part of the Global Talent team on the design, development and deployment of initiatives that drive the firm’s global organization design strategy and roadmap. You will be a crucial part of an expanding global team.

 

Who you will work with

You will work closely with the Global OD Lead, Global Head of Talent Management, Global Head of Learning and Leadership Development, Regional Heads of HR and Business Functional Heads, as well as Lawyers and Partners.

 

What you will be responsible for

You will work with the wider Global Talent team to design, implement and deliver the OD elements of the firm's global people strategy. Creating the organisational design philosophy and approach for the firm, including the methodologies and toolkits that will support the wider HR teams globally.

Accountable for holding a well-informed central view of all strategic OD initiatives and activities - coordinating central governance and systems, along with reporting for the HR Leadership Team (HRLT), and executive teams to drive insight and decision making.

 

What you will do

  • Job architecture: supporting the implementation the firm's new career framework and overarching job architecture, ensuring it's fit for the future.
  • Org design: You will lead OD projects for the firm. You will also support building the firm's global philosophy and approach to OD, including all associated frameworks, playbooks and toolkits.
  • Skills frameworks: help support the initial development of a firm wide skills framework, processes and systems.
  • Operating model design: support the design of new functional and business operating models for the firm.
  • Data, reporting and insights: work across analytics teams to measure the impact of each component of the OD portfolio and associated programmes and interventions and unlock insights for the firm.

Qualifications

Your career experience so far

Skills:

  • SME: you will have strong organisation design and change skills combined with strong execution.
  • Stakeholder management: you will have effective and flexible relationship-building skills at senior levels.
  • You will have the ability to help drive long-term business and HR strategy, thinking in global terms and demonstrating strong business acumen.
  • Collaborative and growth mindset: you will be able to work successfully with key stakeholders to create joint expectations and deliverables; striving for positive results and engaging others in the journey.
  • You are an advocate for embedding diversity and inclusion into talent management and development.
  • Data savvy: you will have the ability to interpret and evaluate data and generate insights to inform progress and action.

 

Experience:

  • You will have significant experience of leading the design, implementation and management of organisational design, operating model, career structures and business transformation/change.
  • Experience of working in a matrixed / global environment is desirable.
  • You will have experience of partnering with and influencing management teams and working collaboratively.

 

Qualifications:

  • Occupational psychology or HR would be an advantage but are not essential qualifications.

Hybrid Working

This role follows our 'balanced' hybrid working approach and as long as business needs allow, you will be supported to work in a hybrid way with the expectation of working from the office for a minimum of 50% of your time.
